PROJECT
Passenger Car : DOE/ Optimisation for a passenger car suspension in the frequency domain.
OBJECTIVE
Optimize the various suspension parameters so as to achieve the Minium level of vibration level at the strut upper mount location.
INPUT
RLD in the frequency domain is applied to both the left and right tyre in Fx, Fy & Fz direction.
MODEL
RESULT
The frequency response is measured at strut upper mount location. Various suspension parameters like bush stiffness and damping, hardpoint location etc are varied in such a way that overall amplitudes decreses and also the area under the frequency reponse curve is minimized.
