To estimate the stresses and fatigue life cycle of the knuckle for different bench test

OBJECTIVE

The objective is to find out the stress and fatigue life of the knuckle for different life cycle.

INPUT

. Material properties of steel.
. Surface finish and surface treatment
. Loading history as in the bench test.
. SN curve of the material used.

MODEL

RESULT

The bench test for four different tests and the fatigue life predicted and the design was found to meet the minimum service conditions.
